The altered design logic carries into the naval treaty era. A fast-battleship requirement might stabilize earlier than the repeatedly revised historical Admiral-class battlecruiser design, making completion of two or three ships more plausible. The resulting vessels could make around twenty-eight knots and carry fifteen-inch guns, possibly in a heavier battery or a different turret arrangement. Existing ships of that scale would make it harder for negotiators to preserve low limits by treating Hood as a one-off exception. Treaty tonnage and future construction would change accordingly.

Completed fast battleships could force higher treaty limits
If the Admiral-class programme produces several improved Queen Elizabeth-style fast battleships, treaty negotiators cannot treat Hood as a single exceptional ship.
