Implacable's completion armament included eight twin 4.5-inch mountings. Five octuple and one quadruple pom-pom mounting supplied 44 barrels of the smaller anti-aircraft battery. Twin and single 20 mm Oerlikon mountings added close-range fire. The Oerlikon totals varied between ships, and published accounts disagree over the allocations. Additional guns may also have been carried at particular dates, so the exact Oerlikon total remains uncertain.
