Completed G3 and N3 ships reshape treaty bargaining

Four G3s and near-complete N3s could change capital-ship treaty bargaining and redistribute modern battle forces among three Royal Navy fleets.

Notes

This counterfactual assumes that construction outpaces naval diplomacy. Four completed G3s, with at least two N3s nearing service and more following, would give Britain bargaining chips it would resist scrapping. The enlarged capital-ship total could support substantial forces assigned to the Home, Mediterranean, and Indian Ocean fleets. The G3s go to the Indian Ocean, while the N3s, Queen Elizabeths, and Revenge-class ships divide between home and Mediterranean commands. Renown, Repulse, and Hood could form a secondary Atlantic battlecruiser force able to reinforce where needed. The scenario illustrates how completed ships could force different treaty terms and fleet assignments.
