Question

How many different CVA-01 designs were developed?

Short answer

Many; the displayed drawing is only one of the versions closest to the likely final design.

Notes

Many CVA-01 alternatives were explored, and the image shown is only an approximation of the likely final form. An unbuilt warship with an evolving design cannot be represented by one perfectly fixed configuration.
