Question

How much does Vulcano 5-inch guided ammunition cost when many ships use it?

Short answer

It is described as considerably cheaper because of production scale, but no exact price is given.

Notes

Vulcano 5-inch guided ammunition is described as considerably cheaper in a question framed around a larger number of users. Production scale is the explanation offered for the difference. Dr. Clarke then states his preference for an Italian gun and Vulcano ammunition on Type 26 in place of its American gun. That preference is distinct from the ship's actual equipment choice. No current per-round quotation is provided.
