Missile-cell counts and the trap in simple comparisons

Cell counts make City look stronger on paper, but quad-packing and separate missile launchers complicate direct comparisons among the variants.

Notes

The video compares the three variants by counting complete vertical-launch cells and separate missile launchers. That method gives the City class seventy-two ready positions, but a bare total can mislead because Mark 41 cells may quad-pack Evolved Sea Sparrow Missiles while Canada's separate Sea Ceptor cells and Naval Strike Missile launchers create a different mix. The figures therefore measure launcher capacity rather than one fixed combat load. Missile type, packing arrangement and national mission matter as much as the headline number of cells.
