Does a First World War Short seaplane survive in Greece?
Short answerPossibly, but the identification rests on an old, poor-quality photograph and remains unconfirmed.
NotesDr. Alex Clarke's research notes contain an uncertain lead about a surviving Short seaplane in Greece. A Greek PhD student had supplied part of an old photograph of an aircraft in a small museum. The image quality was too poor for a secure identification, and even the notes were recalled with reservations. The aircraft's identity and survival therefore remain unconfirmed.
