Chapter ยท 48:42-49:35

Delayed entry, Gallipoli and Jutland availability

The assumed delay could keep Queen Elizabeth away from Gallipoli while leaving four sisters available for Jutland.

Notes

The three-month shift places Queen Elizabeth's entry in March 1915 and Warspite's in June 1915. The remaining dates used in the scenario are January 1916 for Barham, April for Valiant and May for Malaya. Queen Elizabeth could consequently miss the Gallipoli operation. Tiger or Dreadnought is suggested as a possible replacement flagship. Dreadnought already has flagship fittings and is not considered essential to the Grand Fleet in this scenario. Four Queen Elizabeths would probably still be available for Jutland. These dates and deployments are consequences of the assumed delay.
