Chapter · 24:28-41:15

A batch program could yield nine major ships

Successive batches of 11-inch battleships, 15-inch variants, and carriers could produce seven capital ships and two carriers by 1942.

Notes

The proposed schedule keeps three yards moving from one closely related hull to the next. The first group uses triple 11-inch turrets; later hulls include twin 15-inch variants and carriers built around the same basic dimensions and machinery. Repetition is expected to shorten construction as yards and workers gain familiarity. Even allowing for wartime losses, this creates more simultaneous threats than Germany historically fielded.
