Secondary-battery fittings are checked against the main turrets' fields of fire. The added weapons leave most of the heavy battery unobstructed, although one turret loses a small sector to the secondary mountings. The central turret can cover much of that sector, so the overlap is accepted. A plausible secondary arrangement must account for the arcs it takes away from the primary armament as well as the extra firepower it adds.
