A reproduction deck of Second World War aircraft-recognition cards contains roughly sixty aircraft types. The cards turn silhouette knowledge into a portable drill based on repeated identification. They show how observers practiced distinguishing aircraft without digital reference tools. Modern learners can use the reproduced deck for the same kind of visual exercise.
