Rearmament exports could strengthen Poland

Larger British and French production runs could lower export costs and let threatened states such as Poland buy more ships, aircraft, and other equipment before 1939.

Notes

Naval rearmament affects land strategy through industrial scale and export capacity. If Britain and France are already producing ships, aircraft, and related equipment, third countries can buy from mature lines at lower cost. Poland has reason to procure earlier because Soviet pressure exists before Nazi Germany becomes the immediate western threat. A better-equipped Polish state is one factor that could make German invasion harder or delay the wider conflict.
