Postwar design ripples from a different Jutland

A Jutland in which Queen Elizabeth-class fast battleships do more of the decisive work could redirect the Admiral class away from the historical battlecruiser design.

Notes

The historical battlecruiser losses could still occur while the Queen Elizabeth class gains greater credit for breaking the German advance. That experience would strengthen the operational case for fast battleships over another generation of battlecruisers. Hood was consciously designed as a battlecruiser, so treating her as a poorly executed battleship misstates the original requirement. A different Jutland lesson could change the starting requirement for the Admiral class instead of merely modifying its armour after design work had begun.
