A plausible Queen Elizabeth Maximus layout and UAD's date limits

The playful turret arrangement is separated from the historically likelier Royal Navy layout, and the game's later design year is explained.

Notes

The experimental turret arrangement differs from the historically grounded counterfactual. An Iron Duke-style A-B-Q-X-Y layout, with two turrets forward, is the likelier Royal Navy arrangement proposed for Queen Elizabeth Maximus. The test model is kept as close as possible to plausible historical equipment because unrealistic additions would distort the design data. Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts ties components to dates when comparable equipment appears in its technology system, so the design must be labeled 1920 to represent a ship Britain might have considered around 1911.
