A naval air squadron's honours can span very different campaigns. The entries for 800, 801, and 809 Naval Air Squadrons include operations in Norway, the Mediterranean, Malta convoys, the Arctic, and the war against Japan. Later honours extend the same institutional line into Korea and the Falkland Islands. Together, these honours trace Fleet Air Arm service across aircraft generations and wars.
