Tiger and the two F3-derived ships would form a division near 28 knots, while Hood, Renown, and Repulse formed another near 32 knots. Adding three fast carriers and cruisers would support detachments built around one or two carriers and two to four capital ships. By about 1930, the proposed force could acquire a vice-admiral's command with separate senior officers responsible for the capital-ship divisions and carriers. Distant deployments by this force would leave the Queen Elizabeth and Revenge classes available for local duties and better maintenance. Courageous or Glorious could also accompany the hypothetical Nelson and Rodney on a world cruise, making carrier operations part of the same overseas presence.
