Faster aircraft orders still need resilient logistics

More aircraft and purchases of unused F-35B production slots are proposed alongside stockpiles and attention to unresolved mission-support dependencies.

Notes

The proposed immediate aircraft priorities are Eurofighters, F-35Bs, and some form of uncrewed combat aircraft, brought into service as quickly as possible. Buying F-35B production slots relinquished by other countries is suggested as a way to accelerate deliveries. Stockpiling stores would reduce logistical exposure. A solution to possible mission-tasking and profiling dependencies remains uncertain, so extra stock alone would not resolve every support concern. Disrupting the multinational supply chain to pressure an ally is judged self-defeating because components come from several partner nations.
