Reimagining Dreadnought with triple 14-inch turrets

A game design exercise asks what HMS Dreadnought might look like with triple 14-inch turrets, more speed, and a deliberately modernised secondary battery.

Notes

The opening design exercise tests an intentionally ahistorical Dreadnought with 14-inch guns in triple turrets and a 24- to 25-knot hull. A visually appealing layout still has to meet weight, funnel, range, and secondary-armament constraints. Excess funnel capacity is removed to recover weight, and some of that margin goes into historically plausible three-inch anti-destroyer guns. Their roughly 12-kilometre range is well below the six-inch battery's 16 kilometres and the main battery's 37 kilometres, so each layer covers a different engagement zone. The finished ship applies later knowledge to Fisher's Dreadnought. It does not represent a British design from 1905.
