Designing a 1926 all-forward fast battleship

An Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts build explores how speed, protection, machinery, and twelve 16-inch guns compete for space and displacement.

Notes

The build begins with a 1926 British battleship of about 50,000 tons and a minimum speed of 28 knots. Geared turbines and an auxiliary diesel support that speed, while anti-torpedo protection, a double hull, and the initial armour scheme consume much of the displacement. Three quadruple 16-inch turrets sit forward and can bring all twelve guns onto a target ahead. The arrangement is openly playful rather than a plausible historical proposal, but the game makes the competing demands of firepower, speed, protection, internal volume, and firing arcs easy to follow.
