Cruisers are the force's practical skeleton: more numerous than battleships, yet capable of diverse missions. The Dictator has launch bays, the Gothic combines lances and torpedoes, the Dominator carries a Nova Cannon, and the Tyrant uses mixed macro batteries. Their variety supplies the numbers and mission flexibility that scarce battleships cannot provide. Every hull still faces the same space-combat problem: attacks around planets, asteroids, gas clouds, and Warp transitions can arrive from more than one direction.
