Question

Would putting the triple 15-inch turrets forward, in a Dunkerque-like arrangement, make the proposal more useful?

Short answer

The all-forward arrangement is judged slightly more useful.

Notes

The follow-up changes the proposed layout to concentrate its triple 15-inch mountings forward. This receives a slightly more favourable response than the preceding Courageous proposal. The answer supplies no new dimensions or protection scheme.
