How much carrier space does removing the pilot save?

Removing a pilot does not remove the engines, wings, or mission equipment that determine how much carrier space a combat aircraft needs.

Notes

Removing the pilot saves relatively little of a modern fighter's volume. Comparisons with small uncrewed aircraft often overlook their narrower missions, such as reconnaissance or bombing, while a multirole aircraft must carry additional equipment. Engines and wings still take up deck space, and their required size follows the aircraft's capabilities. A rough suggestion of six uncrewed aircraft in the space of five crewed equivalents illustrates a modest gain, with the actual result dependent on layout and wing dimensions. Removing the person also removes a human limit on tolerable G forces, which is a different benefit from saving space.
