Why Blucher would be outclassed

Blucher carries twelve 8.3-inch guns, but her wing-turret layout limits a broadside to eight. A Tiger Cub can therefore answer with the same number of weapons while throwing materially heavier 9.2-inch shells. The projected British ship is also about 2.6 knots faster, enough to influence range and disengagement even if it falls just short of the preferred three-knot margin. Newer engines, small-tube boilers, and possible oil firing widen the technological gap and turn Blucher from an apparent model into an outclassed predecessor.
