HMS Jutland's straighter wartime hull form

HMS Jutland gives the Battle class an aggressive wartime profile. The hull retained a fast, rakish shape but adopted a straighter bow line than the Tribal class. That bow was easier to manufacture while preserving some flare and sweep. Placed between a Tribal and a Daring in the comparison image, the ship makes the design sequence visible before the weapons are examined in detail.
