The alternative carrier tonnage allocations

The proposed totals give Britain and the United States 330,000 tons each, Japan 231,000, and France and Italy 132,000 apiece.

Notes

The 10:10:7:4:4 ratio produces national carrier-tonnage ceilings of 330,000 tons each for Britain and the United States, 231,000 for Japan, and 132,000 each for France and Italy. Every navy may build individual carriers up to 33,000 tons, subject to the earlier conversion and service-life rules. The 132,000-ton figure follows the earlier calculation and four ships at the individual maximum. The later spoken recap is rendered as 142,000 tons, which conflicts with that arithmetic. These totals create choices about fleet count and ship size rather than prescribing a uniform carrier design.
