Japan could replace the Soviet Union at the Allied leaders' table

A victorious coalition could bring Yonai together with Roosevelt and Churchill, with monarchs involved to demonstrate Japan's standing.

Notes

A shorter war fought by Britain, Japan, and the United States could produce a different group of leaders at the peace conference. Yonai could meet Roosevelt and Churchill in the position otherwise occupied by Stalin. The Japanese emperor and the British king might also attend, although such public participation would be unusual for the emperor in this period. Italy's king joining the meeting could create another reason to include him.
