Very few historical lines remain; future additions would mostly rely on paper designs such as F3 or on ships invented for the game.

Notes

The panel lists carriers, battlecruisers, light and heavy cruisers, destroyers, and submarines as already represented. That leaves few coherent historical categories for an entirely new British line. An F3 battlecruiser design could supply an interesting paper project because it was at least studied rather than wholly invented.
