Windy Corner and the crossing of the T become deadlier

Earlier German losses could spare Invincible and Princess Royal, while effective shells make the Grand Fleet's later engagement more destructive.

Notes

At Windy Corner, the ships that historically destroy Invincible or damage Princess Royal may already be sunk or disabled. To let the later fleet action occur at all, the scenario places the additional HMS Queen Elizabeth with Jellicoe as a possible flagship; if she joined the Fifth Battle Squadron instead, her trained crew and 15-inch guns might force the German withdrawal even earlier. The main-fleet action then amplifies the shell problem: König receives several heavy hits that cause damage or flooding but often do not detonate after penetrating. Improved shells make the crossing of the T far more dangerous and leave fewer German battlecruisers available for the later sacrificial charge. This branch remains conditional, since a rational German commander may have withdrawn before the scene can unfold.
