Does the Warspite-inspired Star Destroyer also carry fighters?
Short answer
Yes. It retains the Venator's carrier capacity while added centerline turrets provide a heavier gun battery.
Notes
The Warspite-inspired ship retains fighters because its underlying Venator design was strongly oriented toward carrier operations. Added centerline turrets supply the extra gunfire. The proposed arrangement is credited with a 50 percent increase in overall firepower and a 100 percent increase in broadside fire and coverage. It also substantially increases forward fire, so the fighter component accompanies a much stronger gun battery.
