What are your thoughts on the Venezuelan Navy?

Its nominal assets are undermined by prolonged underfunding, maintenance problems, and weak support.

Venezuela retains some interesting naval assets, but years of weak funding, maintenance, logistical support, and institutional attention constrain what those ships can do. Readiness cannot be inferred from the inventory alone when equipment has not been sustained. Any wartime performance would depend heavily on personnel loyalty and improvisation. Nominal capability therefore gives an incomplete picture of the fleet.
