Uncrewed early warning and command personnel

An uncrewed radar aircraft would move command work back into the carrier group, with consequences for where people and equipment are needed.

Notes

An uncrewed airborne early-warning aircraft could carry the radar without carrying its command team. The control work now performed by observers aboard a helicopter or Hawkeye would still need to happen elsewhere. Those personnel would probably move back to the carrier or another part of the group. Removing people from an aircraft therefore changes where work is done, and can increase some roles even while eliminating others.
