Chapter · 19:23-21:32

Why fleet tonnage determines whether an invasion can proceed

New ships are valuable not just as combat units: their combined tonnage moves the force toward the two-million-ton requirement for invading France.

Notes

The campaign makes a strategic requirement visible in fleet-management terms. Ships arriving at Bombay, Singapore, Plymouth, and Scapa Flow count as deployable tonnage. Roughly 700,000 tons are expected from the current construction program, while the French invasion requires two million tons of shipping. Delivery dates and the locations of new hulls therefore become operational constraints. Amphibious reach depends on sustained industrial output and timely deployment within the game system.
