Question

What special-forces units does the United Kingdom have besides the SAS and SBS?

Short answer

The wider structure includes the Special Reconnaissance Regiment and Special Operations Support Group, along with specialized commando capabilities.

Notes

The Special Reconnaissance Regiment sits alongside the better-known SAS and SBS. The Special Operations Support Group supplies part of the structure that enables specialist missions. Thirty Commando is also mentioned, although the brief exchange does not define its role or formal place in special-forces command. British special operations therefore include reconnaissance and support organizations beyond the two famous regiments.
