A Falklands-informed redesign of the Type 42

With Falklands hindsight and another thousand tons, how should the Type 42 have changed?

Add Sea Wolf and close-in guns while retaining stronger gun armament alongside Sea Dart.

The preferred gun fit is the County class's twin 4.5-inch mounting. Two mountings would be desirable, but the extra thousand tons might allow only one while also accommodating Sea Wolf. Sea Dart would remain, with a six-round Sea Wolf launcher placed either forward near the bridge or farther aft. Phalanx or Goalkeeper would add close-in defense. With those changes, the rest of the Type 42 design is judged adequate.
