A 13.5-inch weapon could plausibly fit inside a mounting designed for a 14-inch gun, so the model does not require the alternative Royal Navy ship to carry the larger calibre. The hull otherwise follows the Orion pattern, isolating the effects of replacing twin turrets with triples. In the simulation, the twin mounts exhausted their ammunition before the triples, for reasons left unresolved. That game result is not historical evidence.
