Could the fleet gain an escort resembling a later Tribal-class destroyer?

Would Jellicoe and Fisher seek an escort resembling a Second World War Tribal-class destroyer?

Probably a scout cruiser with characteristics resembling the later Tribal destroyer.

An escort resembling the later Tribal type is accepted as a plausible direction for Jellicoe and Fisher. In the First World War setting, the proposed vessel would probably take the form of a scout cruiser. No armament or detailed design is specified.
