The available game hulls do not closely resemble a Royal Navy destroyer of the period. The nearest form has German-looking lines and an incorrectly angled funnel. Oil fuel, geared turbines, and other machinery settings bring the design closer to the intended type, including the Tribal class's historical 36-knot speed. The weapon menu creates another distortion because the desired 4.7-inch gun must be approximated from the four-inch branch instead of the five-inch branch. Those compromises matter when two reconstructed Tribals face the German destroyers, since both sides enter the test through imperfect digital stand-ins.

Reconstructing a Tribal-class destroyer exposes more game limits
The British half of the destroyer comparison shows how hull shapes, funnels, speed, and gun menus force compromises before the trial even begins.
