A Super Burke name for a redesigned successor

A partly humorous Super Burke proposal uses familiar branding to explain how a major internal redesign might retain political support.

Notes

High-volume Burke construction is credited with keeping unit prices reasonable, making a different ship difficult to justify against the established design. A partly humorous suggestion is to call a successor a Super Burke. The analogy is the Hornet name, with familiar branding helping Congress see continuity even if the interior is extensively redesigned. The imagined ship would look similar outside while supporting another 30 to 40 years of service. This is a proposed way to present a successor, rather than an existing program.
