StanFlex uses standardized weapon containers fitted into prepared slots across the Danish fleet. Container dimensions are presented as its largest limitation because they restrict the equipment each module can accommodate. A larger format was considered, but the hoped-for international funding for further development did not materialize. The existing system remained sufficient for Danish needs. A proposed mix of standard and standard-plus slots could have widened the payload range if more partners had financed it.
