The Secutor class is an Imperial carrier with roughly twice the fighter complement of a standard Star Destroyer. Its light turbolasers provide some defensive coverage, while several ion-cannon types give it tools for disabling opposing ships. Walkers, landing craft, utility vehicles, and thousands of troops allow it to support planetary operations as well as fleet combat. It is a less capable descendant or variation of the Venator and Acclamator ideas, but still a useful platform the Empire actually retained. Its absence from decisive fleet combinations points to a doctrinal failure rather than a lack of suitable hardware.

Secutor class reveals an overlooked Imperial carrier option
