Santa's factory scale and internal transport

A fanciful factory complex stretching beyond Lapland raises the practical problem of internal transport for an enormous organization.

Notes

The Christmas thought experiment treats Lapland as a factory outlet for an operation much larger than a single workshop. Supplying so many toys prompts a fanciful suggestion that the complex could stretch to the North Pole. An imagined internal metro would dwarf the Tokyo network or London Underground. The joke connects the scale of Santa's production with the communications and transport needed to run such a large organization.
