If an uncrewed battlecruiser could be mass-produced, should a navy choose the Renown class or Admiral class?
Short answerThe smaller Renown fits more existing infrastructure, leaves the largest facilities for human-crewed ships, and uses numbers to offset fewer guns.
NotesThe Admiral class is the initial theoretical choice, but the practical preference is the Renown class. More Renowns would fit the available infrastructure. The largest facilities could then serve bigger ships that still needed human crews. Sending three or four drones instead of one or two larger vessels would compensate for fewer guns on each hull.
