A mass radar-directed Defiant night-fighter force

Delivering more than a thousand Defiant night fighters and coordinating them by radar would create a very different defensive problem for German air raids.

Notes

A counterfactual Royal Air Force receives roughly 1,254 Defiant night-fighter variants. Quantity alone would put a very large interception force into the air. Radar direction and supporting systems would make that force more than a mass of isolated aircraft. Even if the Defiant remained imperfect, coordinated numbers on that scale would seriously complicate night bombing operations.
