Why keep accepting Allied warship orders after exceeding shipbuilding capacity?
Short answerBecause refusing Allied orders can damage alliances, while the game offers no way to delay exports and prioritise domestic construction.
NotesThe construction programme has exceeded available shipbuilding capacity, largely because of Allied orders. Those orders continue because, in previous campaign play, repeated refusals have weakened alliances. The game offers no way to promise an ally a later delivery while prioritising a domestic battleship, so industrial scheduling and diplomacy become inseparable. Export commitments can consume capacity even when the navy still has a profitable programme and many ships of its own under construction or repair.
