Naboo's royal starship could anchor a planetary escort force

The practical starting point is that a royal starship cannot safely travel alone. The same fast hull could serve as the basis for an armed variant, with ceremonial spaces replaced by power generation, shielding, and weapons. Several such ships operating with Naboo fighters would create a standing defensive squadron rather than leaving the planet dependent on one transport. An attacker would then have to bring substantially more force to impose a blockade. A common hull can support both state transport and military escort roles when each conversion is planned around its mission.
