Sea Flight recounts an action in which an enemy sloop can still cover a harbour and impede troops ashore. Six Hurricanes from HMS Indomitable make a low-level strafing attack through smoke and return fire, even though the pilots doubt what rifle-calibre machine-gun bullets can do to the ship's plating. They leave the sloop burning, but the air attack forms only part of the action. HMS Anthony then enters the harbour under fire and lands fifty Royal Marines, who capture the naval depot, while HMS Diamond follows. Carrier aircraft, surface ships and landing troops each contribute a different part of the harbour action.
