A proposal begun in 2013 called for a full-size sailing reconstruction of HMS Lennox. The plan gained some momentum in 2015 but had produced no ship by the video's 2021 recording, so this assessment is deliberately time-bound. Its intended home was the former Deptford Dockyard within the Convoys Wharf redevelopment, giving the old naval site a museum-style attraction comparable to Cutty Sark at Greenwich. The proposal combines the public-history appeal of rebuilding a historic warship with the difficulty of carrying an ambitious maritime-heritage project through to completion.
