French stealth influence and Sejong's Burke-like silhouette

La Fayette influenced Korean reduced-signature shaping, while Sejong's resemblance to an enlarged Arleigh Burke raises a separate argument about tactical ambiguity.

Notes

Some reports describe variation in KDX-II's Korean VLS configuration, which is plausible as an indigenous design develops. Its reduced-signature shaping drew in part on the French La Fayette-class frigates, an influence carried into later Korean builds. Sejong the Great's resemblance to an enlarged Arleigh Burke prompts a separate point: similar equipment can favour similar superstructures and layouts. That resemblance may also create tactical ambiguity over which vessel an opponent is observing.
