The K3 is treated as a Renown enlarged around triple 18-inch mountings. That lineage supports modelling it as a battlecruiser-like fast capital ship even when the game places it on a battleship hull. The same logic supports the choice of twin 4.7-inch secondary mounts for an imagined later modernization. This is an interpretive design analogy rather than a claim that the unbuilt K3 received a completed refit.
