The white volume visible in the video is Jutland: The Naval Staff Appreciation. William Schleihauf edited the original staff analysis, Stephen McLaughlin supplied additional text, and John Jordan drew the diagrams. The book presents the full official appreciation rather than only a later narrative of the battle. Readers can use it to compare institutional analysis with subsequent Jutland historiography.
